The Mendota

The Mendota is a historic landmark in Washington, DC, and its 114-year-old pipes were showing their age. The condominium building’s drain, waste, and vent and domestic supply systems were experiencing frequent leaks. After attempting a partial repipe with their service plumber, the condo board realized they would benefit from working with a pipe replacement specialist. They contracted SageWater to repipe the kitchen areas, where residents were experiencing the most acute issues. The Board was impressed with our communication and the care we took to protect the property, particularly given the building’s historic nature. We completed this project on time and on budget, including working with a trusted partner for asbestos abatement. Given the project’s success, the board is now working with SageWater on phase two.
