When the new owners took over The Park at Cortona, a garden-style apartment complex steps from Gibson Lake in Lakeland, FL, they budgeted a repipe into the purchase price, determined to replace the leaking piping system immediately upon acquisition. After having worked with SageWater on another repipe, there was no question about bringing the company in for their newest property. SageWater completed a full repipe of the five buildings, including in-unit piping, risers, and intra-building main lines to the outside building shut-off valves. The team completed the project in just three months, following strict COVID protocols (including PPE, handwashing stations, and limited crew inside units) to ensure the safety of residents and workers alike. The SageWater communications process, including written notices with diagrams and schedules, ensured residents were apprised of the schedule, knew exactly what to expect, and experienced minimal disruption.
