Carlos is SageWater’s Director of Human Resources. He plays a key role in aligning workforce strategy and business goals by leading our recruitment, retention, and organizational development initiatives. Previously, Carlos has worked as a human resources executive, HR business partner, consultant—including during a three-year stint in Spain—and business owner. He has deep experience in the hospitality industry, where he learned to emphasize service and teamwork. His work is also informed by growing up in a multilingual family that traveled extensively.
Carlos holds certifications from the Society of Human Resources Management and a degree in finance from Virginia Tech. In his free time, you can find him fishing, volunteering, reading, enjoying a good meal, or watching Real Madrid.
