An iconic I.M. Pei designed community, Society Hill Towers, a residential complex consisting of three, 31 story towers, was experiencing frequent leaks on their HVAC riser piping system. This project included replacement of 66 two-pipe dual temperature hydronic risers, 1,890 Fan Coil Units, isolation valves and multiple mechanical components of the system. This project required some unique solutions, including custom fabrication of sheet metal enclosures to cover the pipes connecting the fan coils to riser chases. In addition, new pipe insulation, wall repair, and painting made this a turnkey contract for the unit owners of Society Hill Towers.
