This 278-unit apartment community was suffering from leaks as a result of defective polybutylene supply piping. Leaks were occurring weekly, with damage to apartment homes and supply closets. Besides being concerned with the cost of the damages and unhappy residents, the new owner did not want to have defective polybutylene pipes negatively affect the value of property they had just purchased. SageWater was hired to perform our One Call Repipe solution at the property, replacing the polybutylene with CPVC supply piping. In addition to installing new piping within the residential units, SageWater crews replaced the building main valves, performed concrete and drywall repairs, and painted all affected surfaces.
