Sea View Condominiums

The topography at Sea View condominiums, which was built into the base of the mountain at Punchbowl Crater, made for a uniquely challenging project. Due to the slope of the landscape and offsets in the original construction, the DWV piping system follows some peculiar paths. As the turnkey design-build contractor, SageWater used its ingenuity to develop and install a comprehensive repipe solution that included excavation work in the ground floor units to address leaks in the underground piping. We also saved the community money by using ground penetrating radar sketches to obtain permission from the Department of Planning and Permitting to relocate the backflow preventer without trenching the entire length of the concrete driveway. With SageWater as its one source for end-to-end project delivery, Sea View streamlined its pipe replacement project and eliminated unnecessary costs.
