Makiki Manor Condominiums

To replace the failing drain, waste, and vent piping system at Makiki Manor, SageWater overcame two unique hurdles. First, while implementing our Turnkey Pipe Replacement solution, we discovered that the plumbing and electrical work for the washer stacks was not as depicted on the plans. To complete the project in a way that would pass inspection, we engaged an electrical contractor to help us remedy the previous installation.

Later we discovered that the closet or toilet bends that we needed to replace were imbedded in concrete. Our team had to hand-chip the concrete to properly replace the fittings.

Despite these unexpected hurdles, we completed the 38-unit project, including the ground-level common areas of the 20-story high-rise complex in four months—on time and on budget. The board and property manager were highly satisfied with the experience.
