  • Fire sprinkler systems are fully engineered by nature and customized to each building layout, so adding one to a building that never had them is a design project rather than an installation.

A good contractor will raise these options with you rather than adding them to your scope by default. Expect them to be straight with you about the trade-offs and walk you through the pros and cons, showing you the reasoning behind their recommendation.
