Failing galvanized supply pipe system
Solution
Turnkey Pipe Replacement of Supply and (partial) DWV Systems

The board at Whaler’s Village needed a full pipe replacement of their fresh water supply system and a partial replacement of their Drain, Waste, and Vent (DWV) system. They hired SageWater to do this for their 4-building, 125-unit condo community, which presented a unique challenge: one of the buildings was on stilts above an EPA-sanctioned salmon reserve. We took special precautions to ensure no contaminants got into the water during the project. Floaters were used to keep tools and debris out of the water and our crews moved through the water in waders. Additionally, we needed to remove the kitchens and bathrooms for asbestos abatement—which meant removing and re-setting all cabinets, appliances, flooring, tile, etc. Despite these unique circumstances, the project was completed on-time and on-budget with high satisfaction from the tenants and condo board.
