Problem
Failing Polybutylene Supply Pipe
Solution
Turnkey Pipe Replacement + Installation of Water Heater Expansion Tanks

The Verandahs, a garden-style apartment complex, was experiencing recurring leaks traced to failing polybutylene supply piping throughout the property. Rather than continuing to absorb the cost of repairs, ownership elected to replace the existing polybutylene pipes to improve the asset’s long-term positioning. The management company chose SageWater because they liked our deep expertise with similar repipes and our long track record of successful projects. We completed a turnkey pipe replacement on time and on budget, which included installing expansion tanks on the existing hot water heaters to keep everything code compliant. Management and residents alike reported that the project caused considerably less disruption to daily building operations than anticipated, and management has recommended SageWater to multiple other properties.
