Summit West Apartments in Tampa, Florida was experiencing persistent issues with its polybutylene supply piping, particularly at pipe fittings. After frequent water shutdowns and ceiling damage from repetitive leaks, the owner decided to pursue a repipe. They chose SageWater because they had worked with us on a similar project at another property. They liked our turnkey approach, especially how we manage all resident communication and keep resident homes clean and livable throughout the project. Due to the age of the building, this project required asbestos abatement, which SageWater handled by bringing in and managing an abatement specialist. We finished ahead of schedule and on-budget. The owner was pleased with our work and immediately contracted us for another project at a different property.
The project started back in April and lasted through September, when it was predicted to last months longer. [SageWater] implemented a schedule that got each home done faster, which made our residents very happy.
