Middletown Brooke Apartments

Owners of the Middletown Brooke garden-style apartments were experiencing leaks in the polybutylene supply lines on a regular basis, likely due to the age of the pipes and the makeup of the city water supply. SageWater installed a completely new piping system in each of the 280 units to replace the polybutylene elements, starting at the copper manifold in the breezeway and after the existing unit main valve where the valve transitions to polybutylene. We also installed new main ball valves in each unit and replaced the piping servicing each apartment’s hydronic loop heat system. Because the work was completed while the units were occupied, SageWater ensured thorough communications with residents, including notices describing the work and each party’s responsibilities.
