Belvedere

The board of directors at Belvedere streamlined a project to replace its DWV piping system by partnering with SageWater for turnkey design-build services. As the sole contractor, we provided project management, engineering, and construction. Our management team hosted Owner and Contractor (OAC) meetings, kept meeting minutes, reported on project schedules and job progress, and submitted pay applications to the community’s property management company. During design, we value engineered solutions that lowered costs. For example, we determined that, while a backflow preventer was required, a booster pump was not. We also helped the community get a variance to eliminate underground work. Then, before we began construction, we used a communications program and other proven techniques to ease the impact on residents. Throughout the project, we worked directly with the board to resolve any issues that arose, expediting decisions that frequently slow projects that involve multiple providers. With SageWater’s design-build delivery, Belvedere saved time, money, and effort.
