1425 Punahou was dealing with frequent leaks in their drain, waste, and vent system. They chose SageWater to carry out the turnkey design-build pipe replacement based on price, aggressive scheduling, and transparency. When we encountered some unexpected quirks of the piping system’s layout, we quickly brought in a structural engineer and an architect to support our work while maintaining our schedule. We also accommodated the community’s minimal space for staging by storing all construction materials in a nearby Pod and trucking them in each day. Finally, we accommodated the community’s scheduling needs by kicking off our repipe after the holidays to minimize disruption during celebrations. We finished on time and on-budget, and the community was pleased with our flexibility, friendliness, and great communication.
The communication was great. They would let us know, and let me know as president of the Board, all issues that came up or any changes in scheduling. They were really good about notifying us. Communication is so important, and SageWater was great at that.
