The Technical Team is a multidisciplinary group of SageWater subject matter experts such as engineers and construction professionals. They bring decades of real-world experience diagnosing plumbing and mechanical infrastructure failures, scoping and designing capital improvements to that infrastructure (especially in occupied buildings), and executing complex system replacement and rehabilitation projects.

Every piece of educational content published by the SageWater Technical Team is informed by hands-on field experience and reviewed for technical accuracy. Our goal is to provide building owners, managers, condominium/co-op boards, and other property stakeholders with practical, trustworthy insight rooted in proven industry practices—not theory alone.

Our Content Standards and Editorial Oversight

Articles authored by the SageWater Editorial Team are developed using a collaborative process that may include:

  • Subject matter experts (licensed engineers and senior construction professionals)
  • Technical writers and editors
  • Project managers with field experience

After SMEs draft or help writers draft content, it’s reviewed by a named subject matter expert to ensure accuracy, clarity, and alignment with current codes, materials, and best practices.
